Part-Time Receptionist/Administrator

  • Job Type: Part-time
  • Pay: £11.50 per hour
  • Expected hours: 22.25 per week

We are a friendly, newly refurbished, modern practice with a growing patient list size of over 10,400 patients. We are looking for an enthusiastic, kind, caring and compassionate individual to join our expanding reception/administration team.

You should have previous customer experience and be a self-motivated team player.

Organisational skills, attention to detail, exceptional interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills are essential to this role with the ability to learn new systems and adapt to new technologies.

IT skills and computer literacy are essential; a working knowledge of “SystmOne” is desirable but not essential. Full training will be provided.

The ideal candidate must enjoy helping people, problem solving and have a genuine dedication to patient care and satisfaction.

You will be working within a multi-skilled team of receptionists at our busy, friendly practice. The successful candidate will need to be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. You must also be flexible to cover during absences and annual leave.

Shifts will be a combination of the following times - 07:45am - 13:30pm & 13:30pm – 18:30pm, these will be on a fixed shift pattern.

Medical Secretary & Administrator

  • Job Type: Full-Time
  • Hours: 37.5 Hours per week
  • Salary: £12.00-£12.50 per hour (depending on experience)

We are looking for a full-time Medical Secretary & Administrator to support our clinical team with audio-typing of letters, electronic scanning and coding of patient correspondence, summarising medical records and general administration duties. The candidate we are looking for must be an enthusiastic, kind, caring and compassionate individual who is a self-motivated team player. You must enjoy helping patients, be well organized, pay attention to detail and have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to learn new systems and adapt to new technologies, IT skills and computer literacy are essential; a working knowledge of “SystmOne” and familiarity with medical terminology are desirable but not essential. The successful candidate will need to be flexible and used to working under pressure and to tight deadlines. You must also be flexible to cover during absences and annual leave and learning new skills.
